Donna's butter tarts (HGC)

Filling

Cream together:

• 1 cup packed brown sugar


• 1/3 cup butter

Add:

• 1 egg


• 2 tbs cream or milk


• 1 teaspoon vanilla


• 1/2 cup raisins rinsed in hot water

Tart pastry

Cream together:

• 2 cups all purpose flour


• 
  
• 1 cup Crisco shortening

Add:

• 1/2 cup cold water

And work together to form pastry.
